The big 3 question (negative cable)
I was just wondering how you guys made the cable bigger from the negative terminal to the chasis ground. Did you just add it to the terminal and than ground it, or did you actually T into the negative cable wire.
I need some suggestions of how to do this.
Right now I am runing 2gauge wire, and I need a bigger wire between the chasis and the batt. terminal.

I got a pair of copper lugs from Murray's Auto Parts for like $2. I pounded 1 of them flat so it would fit between the stock battery bolt and the battery. I did the same thing for my power wire too.

Thats what I thought. I just wasn't sure if it was a bad thing to directly ground it. However, now that I think of it, its the same thing...
AND I replaced my ground cable with a 2 gauge cable, and what a FREAKING DIFFERENCE. MY SPEAKERS HIT TWICE AS HARD AS BEFORE AND NO SIGN OF THE NEEDLE FLUCTUATING.
THIS UPGRADE IS A MUST IF YOU HAVE A STEREO.

OH, I forgot.
Whats the routing on the power wire. I see it going off to the distributor, and I am not sure how to replace it.
Can someone tell me where the power wire goes from the alternator?? I know it goes to the battery, but where else does it go? and is it easy to replace??
Thanks.

Huh, cool. I'll have to do that when I replace my front speakers. One of them actually shot the cone out of itself, so.. yeah. It was 10 years old though.
