box dimension help

I am making a box for two 12" to sit right behind the back seats. I do not want them in the trunk area, and actually cannot put them there. My t-tops sit back there (4th gen). The subs I have need 2.5 cubic ft., but I cannot seem to make a box big enough without either 1. taking up a ton of rear view mirror room, or 2. making the box too small. I have a folding shade cover, and it cannot be closed backwards with the tops off, so it needs to fold forward enough to clear the hatch. Now here is where it gets sticky. I have got it all drawn out to virtually what I am looking for, but I am .3 cubic feet off from 2.5 cft. The box is in the shape of a triangle, angling in both ways. One way more then the other for the shade to fold down. The only way to gain that .3 is to extend it an inch in either direction that either takes up what I consider too much rear view, or it will hit the shade pivot point.

Here is a picture of what the only length/angle requirements are. Any other length/angle can be put in. The one angle needs to be greater than 55 so the sub will fit, and the other needs to be less than 45 so the hatch will close. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, ported boxes are for boxes that are too big for the recommended cft right? And before anyone asks, yes I have made boxes before. This will be my 4th, although, I am stumped on how to make this fit.

EDIT: forgot to add, if the box is made as a right triangle, and the 55 degrees becomes 90 so the subs are facing forward it will block half my rear view. So I would like to angle the subs upwards a little to save some view.
