new rebuilt dash pad

this is what i started with:




this is what i ended up with:



used fiberglass, wood, and bondo. a friend of mine in new jersey actual did 97% of the work, im just gonna paint it and put it in my car, next job onto the center console. gonna combine a console out of a 95 with the front part of my 91. anyway just wanted to show it off. my buddy did an awesome job had to brag on him a little, i will get some picks when i get it in there when i get it back from him.

Great work, Can't say I like the lumps but good job. What do you plan on doing with the mounds as far as finishing them?

just plan on painting the whole thing, like an extremly glossy, glass red to go along with my new interior them of red, black/charcole

looks great but keep in mind that if u paint it really glossy ur going to get some reflection on windshield and it might be hard to see well.

With you speakers intalled into the cap how much room are you going to have against the windshield? It looks like it will be very close.

yeah its close, we measure stuff before he took it, should be good though, i guess i will see soon enough.

thanks, they are not as big as they look. the picture is kinda deciving, the speaker are only 5-1/4" alpines
