Does anyone have a Rockford fosgate head unit? I was thinking on putting one in my Formula. The owner's manual for the RFX9020 in my truck says to mount it within 20 degrees of horizontal. Thirdgens are around 40 degrees.

 

ya i had one in my camaro a while back, i personally didnt like it that much.

Rockford's head units were constantly plagued with reliability problems and as a result, don't have a good reputation. Needaz may have more specific information that he can provide.

 

The only thing I noticed with the RFX 9020 in my truck is that sometimes it won't restart a CD at the last song it was playing when you shut it off, it just starts at the begining of the CD.

I wanted to see if the mounting angle caused problems for anyone as the owners manual states: "Mount source unit as close to horizontal as possible within 20 degrees for optimal CD player performance"

Anyone?
