how do i burn MP3 CD's??

I just bought a new cd player that plays MP3 and WMA files. I have seen people before with cds that have hundreds of songs on them at once, Ive have tried it before but no sucess. I get all my music from Limewire and it says there Mp3's but there anywhere from 3 to 8 megs average. How do i burn a true Mp3 cd??

Burn it as a data disc.

When you burn an audio cd it converts the mp3s to another file type which makes them a lot larger. From like 5 mb to 50mb. When you burn a data cd the files stay as mp3's. Cd's have 700-800mb of space available on them. You do the math. 700/5 = ... enough songs.

The MP3 retains all the data it had before because it is unchanged, so the MP3 will be the same quality it always has been. I wouldn't want to listen to anything under 192 kbps on a good sound system though.

Oh ok, i got it now, ill give it a try. And since you have to burn them as data files, i quess i cant use ITunes?? Would Nero be good for this? And one more question, I know theres a way to organize songs into folder, just add the songs to a folder then drag the whole folder over to the burn section??
Thanks alot for the replys!!

You can tell Itunes to burn a data disc in the burning options

if you have Windows Media Player, at the burn screen on the right, you have the option to choose audio CD, Data CD, or HighMAT Audio; pick HighMAT Audio. I do it this way and it's the easiest way I know to make those mega-cds that I love

Even though you already figured it out, you whould be able to right click on an audio track and convert it to mp3. Or go to prefrences and change imported music to be automatically changed into mp3 form.
