Re: box placement? ttops
I've though about building a special box or "box" for when I get my subs. I too have t-tops and would like to keep them stored in the car. I've thought about some sort of "pyramid" that goes on that hump above the gas tank and behind the rear seats. I know someone on here will say something about the dimensions and ports and blah blah blah. Its all good. I don't want a champion system nor the most rattle, I just need a mounting location. Below are some rough sketches (really really rough sketches) of a box I've had in mind. Of course the dimensions would be different and more exact once I get out there and measure things (when I get my subs). Its actually more like a ramp than a pyramid...

Of course, I might do the opposite, have "well"-box and strap down the t-tops above the hump, which I've seen done before...

Re: box placement? ttops
I'm thinking of designing a similar box, but I have a notchback... so it would look like a pyramid with the top being flat, since my notchback is flat...
I would probably have enough room to put the amps in the back part and speakers facing the rear seats... I was always told, "the more angles a box has, the better"...
