Custom Wiring
Oh the wonderful things you find out when you go to do something simple in your car. I recently decided to inspect the wiring on my stereo because I am thinking of getting a new one. I figured it should have the stock wiring right? Wrong. One of the previous owner(s) decided to custom wire it, and not label anything, with the added effect of all the wires being the same color. Is there anyway I can test what wire goes to what speaker? Id appreciate any input on it.

Re: Custom Wiring
You can use a flashlight battery to do this. Just touch it (don't hold it) across your speaker wires and you should hear a pop at the speaker it's connected to.
