please help

I have the kdc-mp232 kenwood head unit and it does not come with an aux input jack. I want to hook up my mp3 player so I got the cable that has a headphone jack on each side becasue i didnt no the head unit didnt have the headphone jack, i found an adapter from kenwood that allows u to hook it up but it is 20$ and i think i can get a cheap part at radio shack i just dont know the name of the part can somebody help any info would be helpful thanks

you might be able to find something at radioshack but i doubt it would work as good as the one from kenwood, and $20 is cheap compared to the $50 i paid for my ipod adapter

If I understand tour question correctly, you are probably looking for a mini-stereo headphone jack to RCA interconnect cable. That is if your head unit has an aux input set of RCA plugs on the back.

Not Radio Shack, but the do carry them.

al hasse I have that wire and it doesnt work only the back speakers work when i plug it in and it plays the radio and mp3 at the same time

al hasse he is talking bout a data cable link. They do carry them @ radioshack but the ones they have may not work. so of the plugs have different pin connectors. Just get it from kenwood!

google it.. i needed one for my pioneer and they showed you how to make one yourself, took all of 10 minutes to do
