speaker oddity
well, i have stock speakers in my 86 camaro, when i first turn the car on all of them work. but if i hit a bump for example both speakers on the left side quit working and i only get sound out of the right two.
i removed the dash pad and checked the connector going into the speaker and they have a good connection, as much as visuals can tell.
anyone have any ideas of why when i hit a bump the left ones quit working?
thanks,
ry

Re: speaker oddity
well, i took off the face plate to the head unit and all the screws keeping it in, and i cant for the life of me pull it out, but i did give the car power and shake the radio and the speakers cut out, but i havent been able to duplicate it,
is there a another connector somewhere holding the head unit in place in an 86 camaro?

Re: speaker oddity
probably bad connections behind your headunit but besides the 4 bolts that go around the radio i dont know what else could be holding it in.. possibly a bracket on the back of it
