how much can the stock alt can take?
i think i have a 110amp alt i have to recheck to be sure.im planning on putting a 1000rms system 2rf p3s with a hifonics 1206d amp,i know u can add up something to get the amp draw but i forgot how
.so will the alt handle the power or would i have to downgrade..
also i have a yellow top and planning on doing the big 3...

The max current draw is added by the fuses on the amp. If its 2 (30 amp) fuses, then you have a max of 60 amps from that componet. But thats at full power and 100% effeciency.
The stock alt isnt 110amp.
You also got to combine every componet in the car thats pulling currnet at the same time.

yeah it isnt 110 its 105amp alt,im guess it should handle the power if not i could get a h/o alt built or i just downgrade a get a set of rf p2
