Re: Which plug?

it should be the 3 plug one, correct me if im wrong but i thought the bose radios had the same plugs as the standard ones and the bose package was more in the speakers and meant u had a better chance of a cd player.

The same thing happened to me. I just went and cut one out of a 1996 Grand am parts car i have all the wires were the same but a little bigger wire in the Trans Am. I just put spline connector in (the ones you crimp down) and wraped it in electrical tape. Problem solved. If you have a repair manual it has the wireing diagrames in it.

Re: Which plug?

FYI....The 3 plug connector and the 21 pin connector are the same and fit identically in the back of gm radios from 1989 till at least 2002.Only difference might be some have a few extra wires which are for a car that came with more then 4 speakers.
