Radio died after putting new cd player in...

Ok, so i have change the old cd player to a new one, and the old one worked fine. Well i also got 100watts (2) plus 400 watts speakers on the car, It's like it blow a fuse or something? Do i need better wires or something so it won't blow a fuse?

The watt rating on speakers is what they're made to handle, they don't produce power. The radio itself should have a fuse on it you can check to make you feel better, but that's probably not the problem.

Do any lights on the radio turn on? Did you double check your wiring?

yeah i have checked the wiring over and over, nothing comes on in the radio now. when i went to try to put the other one back on it didn't work again on there. all the wires are there and hooked up right.

might be the fuse which im hoping thats all it is.
