In my car I have a Pioneer HU, polk 4x6's, Infinity Kappa 6x9, and Infitiy tweaters.

What I am wondering is if the 4x6's are two way which already have a tweater do I even need the extra set? They're already installed but I am wondering if I really need them to acheive the sound I want. I listen to mostly Rock so I'm not into heavy bass. Please help

 

you probably dont need them if your 4x6's are 2way, one thing....your 6x9's are 2 or 3 way as well, and you dont want to overwhelm your ears with too much treble. plus, with your head unit only pushing out 12-14 watts, you need to keep as much of that power to those two sets.

All the speakers and tweeters are being powered by an amp. I don't have anything connected to the hu itself. I'll test it out when I go and get my HU swapped for a Kenwood.
