CD player help
I have a 1985 trans am with a stock radio and i want to put a cd player in but i cant figure out the wires they do not match the cd players color code i got the cd player to start but i cant get the speakers to work maby some static as i change wires but no music?

The first few things that come to mind are: is the cd player new or use; if used then are you sure it works properly? Did the factory headunit work i/e play music? The speaker wiring is as follows:
(White Connector)
Left front (-) gray Right front (-) dark green
(+) tan (+) light green
(Blue Connector)
Left rear (-) yellow Right rear (-) light blue
(+) brown (+) dark blue
(Black Connector)
Ground - black
dimmer - brown
illumination - grey
power antenna (option) - pink
12V ignition input (switch) - yellow
12V battery (constant) - orange
If you happen to have the steering wheel controls, i am not sure about the wiring for this having never delt with it before. Does anyone else know/have the diagram for the steering wheel radio controls.
