Help please with 4x6's

I beginning my Stereo install on the recently redone 85 Silver Iroc. Its been a long time since I built a system so please bare with me.
I have so far

Alpine Head Unit CDA-9883

one 12" RF Sub P3SD212

INFINITY REFERENCE 9623i 6x9's

Infinity Reference 6422CFP 4 x 6's

I will be building my own box, I am going 100% stealth in every way hence the shallow mount sub. I will be amping the 6x9s and the 12" sub.

My question is, with those 4x6s should I also amp those as well? If memory serves me correctly, I could never keep a pair of 4x6s because they would ALWAYS blow up. I am thinking if they were amped to match the RMS then the problem would be solved. Any help on these buggers would be appreciated. I wont do anything other than stock looking mods stereo wise so kick panels and door panels are a hell no for me. Im looking to get nice clean crisp sound, no more bass that you can hear from 4 blocks away. Just bass that hits clean and once. Too old for that other stuff

Re: Help please with 4x6's

Amp power is usually cleaner than the power from a deck...
Use the amps crossover...
Set gains correctly...

Don't send any bass to them, set gains correctly = no blowing up...
