I'm running a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB deck Which speakers?
Hey guys, I picked up this brand new deck from my buddy, he installed it into his truck, but for some reason it didn't comply with his subwoofer, and since I'm running a 3rd Gen, and love having a truck to put my stuff in it was a match made in heaven, $40 later here I have it.
A friend of mine told me, that right now its one of the best decks you can buy, it's USB, Ipod, and Satellite radio ready with a CD player behind the faceplate, what I would like to know is, what speakers should I run with it? MB Quart is nice, but pricy, he suggested Infiniti, but you guys probably know these cars better, I'm looking for clarity at high volumes, price doesn't matter.

I had never heard of those! But they look cool as hell! How are they for bass, and clarity?

There is really no perfect speaker that you can buy in my opinion for your type of application. Infinity makes some nice speakers which handle power descently well and so does pioneer, alpine, etc. I would just stay away from sony, I've heard bad things about sony speakers, but other than that it's personal preference/how much you are willing to spend. I'd do some reasearch before buying

Kevman,
This is a loaded question. There is no right answer as it depends on your ear and what sounds good to you.
The Pioneer D have had very good reviews on several car audio forums. I'd go with the Premier line if you go that route. Image Dynamics makes good stuff as does Hertz, Focal and Morel.
To get some pricing, go to www.woofersetc.com and have a look around. Also www.caraudio.com and www.caraudioforum.com have some good comparisons.
Again....it's your ear

What's a good speaker to work with from the front dashboard? I've heard it's 4"X6", but I also heard that you've got to bend the heater duct to get bigger magnets in.
