Help with my new sub box

I just bought a box with 2 10" subs in it, and i want to know if i mounted it on my back seat (while its folded down) if it would sound bad or rattle? I have a 89' Iroc...... By the way it would be very helpful if somebody could tell me the easiest way to reach the 8th cylinder spark plug

Re: Help with my new sub box

hey there, i have a a 92 rs, and i have a box for 2 12" subs, i mounted it on the back seat also, but with the subs facing rear, it sounds amazing, very loud, clean bass. as long as you dont plan on having people back there youll be fine, but you really want to find some way of mounting it to the seat, i used 2 L brackets to sucure it to the seat so when you turn or brake the box doesnt fly forward or side ways. if you have any questions let me know. as far as the 8th cylinder spark plug, i found your better off going in from underneath the car. you have more space to work

Thanks, Hey i just bought my car , its a 305 tbi v8, im almost done with the tune up,but for some reason when im driving and im doing about 10-15 mph and i smash the gas my car hesitates for 2-3 seconds and then shoots off,my brother said it was probably a mixture of my timing being off and one of my plug wires being burnt all the way through

Re: Help with my new sub box

well if you fix your timeing and your plug wire and it still cuts out you might want to think about checking your injectors, i was having the same problem with my 92, and i check all the normal stuff (plugs, wires, etc) and it was still doing it, i put new injectors in, runs like a dream. make sure if you do get new injectors to get flow matched ones, their is alot of choices, so just shop around, i have a few sites to look at if you want them, just let me know and ill be happy to get them to you
