Bondo on a Sub Box?

Bondo on a Sub Box?

I was told by another member that bondo would look nice on a sub box...i've been thinking about doing this but i wanted a few opinions first

my opinion, putting bondo on a box does give it a nice look, but it depends on what area you are putting your box, if your going to incorporate it into panels, then yes, i would bond, but if you are going to put it back in the little cargo hole, i would go with carpet. another thing to consider is how much power your going to run to the subwoofer, the bondo with help make the box stronger, thus less flex in the box, which means better spl and better sql.

Im going to mount the box exactly how you have yours,the box is made from mdf i think its called but ive been doing a little searching and people have been saying that the bondo will crack,i was also wondering if i had to do the bottom?
