What type of amp

Currently, I have Infinity Kappa 692.5i rear speakers and 462.5cfp front speakers. I am not looking for a super system, but rather something that sound decent. I plan on using a quality head unit as well.

The fronts are rated at 60 watts rms and the rears are 110 watts rms. Both are 4ohms impedance.

Re: What type of amp

check out an eclipse or alpine 4 channel. something with about 75-85x4

you can always turn down if its too much for your fronts. i would just def say, make sure there is a high and low pass x-over on each channel. you'll want to run the fronts on low pass about 400hz, and run a low pass on the rears at about 70hz. they cant handle that deep sub bass, but you will def get a round sound.

Re: What type of amp

just get a 350rms 4 channel amp. you notice the difference right away. once tuned it sounds way louder. I use to listen to music on my deck at like 20-25 (fairly loud). Now with my amp I listen to it at like 15. Makes a huge difference. 20-25 now is ear bleeding, can barely hear myself talk.

Re: What type of amp

Would something like a Infinity Reference 475a work well?

Re: What type of amp

I ended up getting the PowerBass ASA-600.4 and mounted it in the spare tire area. Post to come in the future.

Re: What type of amp

Still have to fine tune the settings, but now will get loud without distorting.

Re: What type of amp

I realize that the tuning is done by a very unprecise device (ear), but can you provide any tips on setup?
