Re: ****in sweet!

yeah man, I put 300hz bass blockers on the front speakers also. I will go and get some new pictures of the stuff now. I want to get a sub, but with these speakers I don't know if I really need one. I do want to put an amp in the spare tire well to power the dash and sail speakers.

Re: ****in sweet!

well I payed $130 total for the head unit and the HD tuner ( Crutchfield had a sale) and I payed $206 total for the speakers from crutchfield also. It does sound very good, and I can now plug my Mp3 player into it, and get HD radio while it looks stock.

here are links to everything I bought.

Head Unit

HD Tuner

Dash Speaker

Bassblockers for the dash

Sail panel speakers

A sub will do wonders for your system. I'm not one for overpowering, window shaking bass, but a well-tuned subwoofer will nicely add just the right amount of bass.

I have subs/amps in both my truck and car and I don't know how I lived with out them. The truck is a bit more subtle while the Mustang *cough* is definitely a boomer.

Re: ****in sweet!

Drop a twelve or two in there and you can get all ur bass from your sub without distorting your speakers.

Re: ****in sweet!

that is the message center part of the digital dash. It has the odometer, trip, and average speed. Then above that thing is a little screen that says if there is a door open, or if there is something wrong with the lights on the car. for example, I need to replace bulbs in the taillights because the screen keeps beeping and saying "R LIGHT" which means rear light. it's neat, but sometimes I wish I had an analog dash.

Re: ****in sweet!

I probably will get a sub, but it will be a powered sub like this Link. I want to keep everything looking factory, no wires showing anywhere.
