Stereo sounds really low
I hooked up my wiring and put factory Bose stereo in my car and you have to strain to hear it.The wire clip was cut off so i got another one and wired it color to color exactly.Where did i go wrong?
Re: Stereo sounds really low
Not sure, maybe under the dash on the passenger side. It's my understanding that the bose systems used a dedicated amplifier for the speakers.
If your trying to convert a non-bose car to a bose system that may be the problem.

Bose head units are preamp output only-you will have
to hook an amp up to it-easy job, works great(check
the "bose head unit"post for more details) With a
stock bose system, each speaker housing has a special
low voltage amp for use with the special 1/2 ohm
bose speakers.
