Re: Sub Boxes that fit
I've got a box I'm not using, I believe it fits 2 12's. It's heavy so shipping would be a nightmare, but if you really want it we can work something out. It was custom made to fit down in the well in the back of the trunk.

I don't see why not. As far as I know, the rear trunk area is the same for all 3rdgens. The only thing that would change whether it fits or not is if you had the cargo flip cover. I'll post some pics.

It's a 2 piece design. The box sits down in the well area and holds the sub. There is also a board that cover the subs and hides the wiring and cleans up the rear area.

At the moment, they are both in storage in my shed. I'll dig them out as soon as I can and get some measurements for you so you can be sure it'll fit in your GTA. I'll also measure the speaker openings as I am not 100% sure they are for 12's.

Re: Sub Boxes that fit
Lol thread went from legitimate question to FS
If there's a particular box you're interested in just measure those dimensions and compare. Shouldn't be that big of a deal, right?

Re: Sub Boxes that fit
oh no I understand, no biggie. I was just making an observation.
but to keep it on topic:
OP, are you trying to find like standard cube boxes that fit? or ones made for the car?
There are specs in the pdf in a sticky in this thread if you have basic handyman skills. The plans are pretty good, and will be better than the fleabay brand.

Re: Sub Boxes that fit
Just for reference, here are the dimensions for the box and cover I posted pics of in one of my earlier posts. All I have to draw it up in is MS Paint, so don't laugh at the crudeness of the drawings. The box sits level with the top of the "hump" in the back of my Camaro. The cover piece just ties it all together and was used to hide the wiring.
Duey - As I said, this should fit yours, but I will confess I'm not that familiar with the GTA's. PM sent as well.

Building a custom MDF box is where it is at, one weekend and I had mine in my well and it looks good and sounds great! Look into it and see if its something you'd want to do. Or you can usually find some used ones on here, or search ebay there are some pre-made ones out there.
