Trouble with Kenwood head unit

Hey guys I just replaced the stock radio in my 86 camaro with a pretty basic kenwood car audio system, I have had it for two weeks, today, with the radio turned down, the power died. As I did some unscrewing to look for a wire issue I noticed that my power locks and trunk release tab in the center console are no longer working.

Do you think that this just a simple fuse being blown out or something more serious?

Im also going to have to replace to upgrade the kenwood sound system, any recommendations on replacements?

Thanks

If other stuff isn't working then check your fuses. That's probably what it is. Replace it and if it blows again then start looking for shorts. Start around the radio since that's what's new.
