Is this going to run my battery down?
I just wired up a stock radio in my camaro. The way it's wired the radio it's self will be off but the clock will stay on even when I turn the key off. I know I could change that, but I would prefer it. Is that enough to drain my battery? I'm pretty sure I've seen other people with vehicles that do this.

no, you should be fine. pretty much every car is wired that way to save the radio presets and the clock.

if it's a stock radio with lighted digital display, that will
run your battery down after a day or two-i once hooked
up my '84 delco head unit so the clock would remain
lit and i found it would run the batt low after 30 hrs or
so,i checked the current and found it was pulling about
1/2 amp with the clock lit.
