Last night my alarm went off aparently for no reason......anyway now it wont shut off. I had to pull the battery to shut it off. But now when I connect the battery the alarm is still going off.

I dont have an owners manual and I know that it also shuts down the ignition so even if I unhooked the alarm and tried to drive it to get taken out by a stero shop I dont think id be able to do that.

I tried push the disarm button as I re attached the battery and still nothing.

anybody have any ideas......by the way the alarm came with the car and I wanted to get rid of it for a long time now.

...this maybe a dumb question, but did you try replacing the battery in the remote?..

 

No but I have two of them and the other one lights up when pressed and yes it is flashing.........I have since found the "brain" and unplugged it hopeful that it may reset turned the key and now I have absolute no power..not even the alarm when the batterys attached.

yea i was gonna suggest...splitting the siren wire until u figure it...split and rip the brains out! LOL.
