Radio, weird static?
My radio has this really weird issue.
The radio will work fine all day..every speaker works everything..but when i put the car in the garage for the night and start it the next day there is non stop static for a good while..
I have to like ride around id say for a good hour before the static goes away and the car radio plays normally.
What could be causing this? i checked all the cables behind the radio and everything seems to be good to go no real exposed wires nothing..
Thanks for the help

Re: Radio, weird static?
Do you have a "pop" noise when you first turn on the radio?
Is anything radio related (headunit/amps) sharing the same ground? If so, separate them and see if that alleviates the problem. IF everything looks good, and problem persists, try another head unit to be sure.

Nope no popping noise just plain static its weird because it only happens when i park the car for the night in the garage..other than that it works fine.
