Need the best audio person in here!!

Ok well i am changing my headset because i don't like it and some of the buttons dont work and it is just plain out worn out.

I slid out my old one Looking at these 5000 WIRES! i know someone has a aftermarket setup but don't know how to use it. Please someone help me i need to add a new connecter to connect my new head unit.

This is a mess.

Cut them spliced it and solder it looks horrible but i got it done sounds great.

I can't fit the mount in it wont stay in place like lock in i can pull it out what do i need to do??

Did you heat shrink the wires to protect the connection?

Is the faceplate broken? How was it before you removed the deck? The logic being if it was fine before you removed the deck, then something broke.

No, It didn't break on the other headunit it had locks to clip into it so no one could pull it out my new sony one doesn't have the clips like it does on the other head unit. do i need a new dash kit.

Will electrical tape work. That's what i put on : ) no shirnk tube and no stores were open.

Sound like you might. Best to go see a stereo shop and see what they say. Good news is that new install kit is pretty cheap.

you should have a cage that the radio slides in and out of. the cage needs to be installed into the dash kit (usually has some tabs that need to be pried up to hold it in place) and then the radio will snap into the cage. you can see the cage on the radio in the first photo (the slightly different color metal around the front half of the headunit)
