Your Thoughts on Alpine KTP-445 Amp
Has anyone used one of these little things? I plan on putting a radio underneath the passenger seat (while using a wired or FM remote) to keep my original radio in tact.
I would much rather use this than hassle with running an amp just to power 4 speakers.

Re: Your Thoughts on Alpine KTP-445 Amp
This is good add on.
It is basically a second spin idea on some of Alpines higher end headunits from about 4-5 years ago that had a higher RMS rating than the usual 16-18W RMS. For instance I have an Alpine 9833 in my truck. This unit basically has the power pak integrated internally. It requires a seperate 10ga power wire to run the internal amp on the radio. I am not sure if the seperate power pak requires the 10ga power wire from the battery but it is worth looking into. My internal unit boosts the RMS up to about 36W. Alpine later decided to come out with this power pack so you could amplify your speakers through any of their headunits with this add on. I love my headunit and sounded great before my sub and amp. Now it provides good quality mids and highs to my door drivers.
