UX1 Cassette deck belt dimensions
Could anyone tell me what the proper sizes are that I need for my factory radio? It's a model UX1 with equalizers.
I know where I can buy a replacement set, for 15 dollars, but they want 15 dollars to ship a few strings in an envelope. If only I knew the proper sizes so I could buy replacements from other places such as ebay or local stores.
Some measuring of the sizes makes me think the larger band, which broke, is perhaps ~125mm and 1.15 or 1.16mm thick. But this is only an estimate. The smaller one is whole and harder to measure, looks to be the same thickness and anywher from 6-8mm in length (alll lengths folded).
BTW is anyone elses UX1 radio glossy black? Most of the pictures I've seen show a matte grey finish instead, is it some GTA specific thing maybe or just indicative of a later year model?

I don't know the sizes, but I have a place for you to get new ones. I have them, but haven't yet installed them.
Find them here: http://www.fierostore.com/Product/De...5557&d=276&p=1
And, the related post I learned about them from, along with various feedback, is here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/car-...ette-deck.html

No that is the place I mentioned that I don't want to deal with, 30 dollars in shipping, 15 after I tried talking them down and only then if I call all the way to america and ask, I am not that desperate yet.
If we could get the proper sizes for these belts put up on this forum we could save a lot of people a lot of future head aches when it comes to finding spare parts. Starting with me.
I bought a 20-pack of generic bands from ebay, shipping internationally was 2 dollars. Hopefully one of these will work, if they do I will post it here so save others the same trouble.
