Radio short?
I uninstalled my perfectly working Delco deck last year during disassembly of my interior. When I reinstalled it last night, once the harness plugs were inserted, the clock lit up then vanished. Although the radio has its own power button, if I push in on the volume button (making it click) the clock lights up. Once I stop pushing in the ****, the display disappears.
I next tried holding in the button to see if the radio would stay powered and then attempted to play the radio. Result; zero sound.
Does anyone have a photo of their connectors plugged into their radio? Mine is a factory harness/connection and although I can handle plugging in harnesses and splicing wires etc., when it comes to reading diagrams, it's not my forte. Thanks in advance for helping me get my tunes back!

Re: Radio short?
The first photo is of the model stock radio I have and the second photo is of it plugged in (I had labeled the existing connectors before pulling it out previously). Again, your help would be greatly appreciated.

i'm seeing a few wires T'd off, along with a bunch of connections that are unclear. was the original harness cut off? have you checked all the crimps to be sure they are done properly and tight?

Re: Radio short?
For those of you who have the stock radios in place, do you know if your harness connector is 1 solid piece or 3 pieces?
Meaning, I know that either way, there is a small two wire connector that attaches to one side of the radio in place but if you look at my picture above, you will see on the opposite side, three different female connectors (blue, white and black).

Re: Radio short?
In an Ebay auction, a vendor is selling (cheaply) a replacement harness that is supposed to be made for my factory radio yet it has one solid female connector.
For anyone who has a stock radio and knows offhand what the rear of it looks like, will this auction item make things easier for me?
