Amp/ sub wireing question

Amp/ sub wireing question

Currently my amp is under the drivers seat. where is the best place to pass thru the firewall with my power cable

IIRC, on mine, I came in through the passenger fender where the wiring came through for the engine harness.

I drilled a 1/4" hole in the firewall just behind and above the clutch pedal that came out in the engine bay by the clutch and brake fluid reservoirs. Before installing the power line, I insulated the edges of the hole to prevent the wire insulation from chafing.

The line runs from there along the top of the driver side fender to the battery. My amp is in the trunk and the line runs inside the car along the driver side to the new hole.
