Head wiring help

Hey all just bought an Alpine CD 117 A deck to replace my pioneer deh 3700 deck, now the pioneer deck was in the car before I bought the car and when I took the deck out the wiring harness for the pioneer was all butt connected with electrical tape to my 89 GTA's stereo wires.... Not thinking I removed all butt connectors and tape and took the pioneer harness out. I have tried Installing the Alpine unit for a few hours now but to no Avail...... The Alpine harness is different obviously than the pioneer harness but I can't seem to get it to work what so ever.... Now the owner previous to me also installed a custom antenna power switch to raise and lower the antenna whenever I want, it has a fuse and a few black wires but I am not sure what is going on, and there is a big lime green wire coming from the steering column.... As far as the rest of the wires they look the same as what they were stock but I am so lost, could some one please help me, I don't want to dish out a ton of money on a professional installation job... Im pulling my hair out... Please help.

Thanks

Chris
