Re: tape player help?

The motors inside need to be repalced/rebuilt. There are some people on here that do that if you do a search, otherwise, what I did, is picked up a 4th gen stereo out of a 2001 Camaro, installed it and got a GM-AUX9 adapter to run my IPOD. Only mods needed are the adatper harness for the 4th gen stereo, enlargement of the faceplate area to fit the larger 4th gen radio face (It physically fits in the originall location otherwise), and to re-drill new holes for the mounting screws because they're in a different location than the 3rd gen holes, but it's covere by the face palce so you don't see them.
