Lost power at the black connector
Hi guys,
A few months ago, while I was busy putting the interior of my T/A back together, I had plugged the radio and it worked perfectly. Then, I put back the carpet and center console and I lost power at the black connector. I've checked with a multimeter and I'm getting 0.005V at the yellow wire.
I've changed the radio fuse five times with no change.
I do have the harness for the optional amplifier and everything is there, but I've checked the voltage before that harness and I'm still getting the same 0.005V. So there seem to be at least a slight bit of power going in there, as when I turn on the subwoofers with the button, it goes down to 0.004V but it won't light up (there's a little bulb inside the switch).
Everything worked before I put back the carpet and center console.
Everything else works in the car, engine starts straight up, interior lighting and radio backlighting is good, headlights pop up very fast, no problem.
Now what could I check ? Could I have broken a wire or ground inside the dashboard ? It seems unlikely since I haven't forced anything.
Is there a relay, or another fuse I have missed ? I don't see anything on the wiring diagram.
Thanks for the help !

Re: Lost power at the black connector
Check for 12 volts at the radio terminals at the fuse panel. One side should have power with IGN on. This is a diagram from an 87, may be the same. That radio fuse is fed from the IGN switch (brown wire)

Re: Lost power at the black connector
There is a convenience center under the dash next to the steering column(right side) that has the constant power fuse for the radio. I would check there.

The black wire is ground. The yellow is radio power IGN on. The orange wire is constant power from the courtesy fuse.
Double check your ground wire.

Ok so I've checked the power at the fuse box, and I get 0 volt with the ignition or engine on...
Same for the heater/A/C fuse, and the wiper motor which do not work either obviously.
I have 12V on all the others.
