Anyone have any input on these. Putting a 180oz magnet on makes them the largest magent for there size I know of. I wonder how hard they hit? Someone told me they weigh an incredible amount. Anyone know for sure the weight.

A huge magnet doesn't necessarily mean that it's a good speaker. I've seen pure **** with huge magnets, and good speakers with small magnets. What is important is that the magnet is properly designed for the speaker. A lot of cheap speakers use huge magnets because it looks like quality.

I agree with Jim. Some of the best sounding subs I've heard, have had tiny magnets. Even my Solo-baric S12L7 doesn't have a HUGE magnet. For the sound it produces, I would've expexted larger!

i completely agree with jim, but! i have installed 1 of these in dbl0kevins car, single ten, sealed box, and it slams like silly crazy! handles an incredible amt of power, and can still be very punchy and edgy for an excursion sub. i say go for it! also, they weigh in at almost 30lbs, crazy heavy, but sick.

I have installed two 10's in a sealed box and they sound very deep, clean and punchy, they also hold a low note very well, even though they're high excursion subs. Two JL 10w3's in the same box didn't sound as punchy and low (they were still loud and clean). The box was even designed for the JL's. I like the Audiobahn High excursion subs and also they make aluminum subs(I haven't used the aluminum ones yet. The only thing about audiobahn is their quality control. Not that they're speakers fall apart. The ones i've worked with look like the dust covers were glued a little bit crooked. Not a big deal considering you can get a pair online for around $260.
You guys do know that 3 of audiobahn's beat out 4MTX 10's for the world record. Also a person I know is a dealer and is sponsered by them so cost is very low. Thats why I want to know everyones opinion.
On a side it seems the car that set world record SPL holder for consumer class 601-up just a year or so ago (probably been beatin by now) is residing in my neighborhood. Got to see it today. has a wall with 6 15inch subs...etc....etc.....WOW.
