Pioneer subs are good subs. $109 sounds fair.
There are plenty of places to put amps, but the most popular area is on top of the hump right behind the back seats. Just DON'T screw them down into the floor. Your gas tank is right below.
Legacy amps are some of the most worthless piece of **** amps on the market.

I like Pioneer speakers. Knew someone who had an IMPP 10" and it hit pretty hard.

Jim's totally right. Spend more now, and you'll be a lot happier in the long run. At the very least, get yourself a brand name like Kenwood, Pioneer or Clarion. For the $$, Kenwood supposedly makes a real good amp.

I would assume that you're looking for amps on a small budget judging by your manufacturer choices so far.
Just to give you some options...
Kicker Impulse series amps give you major bang for the buck. Alpine V12 series is a little more expensive, but still not near the price of some of the big boys. Or on a very tight budget, I would even lean twards the Kenwood amps over any of those you
mentioned. You can also look into Rockford's entry level, MTX (any), shall i go on?
I have used/installed/judged many if not all of these brands and can definately say you'd be happier spending just a little more now, still be within a budget, and you'll be a lot happier later.
Just my $.02, take it or leave it

I think if you replace the cassette deck with a cd player, you'll be all set
Don't forget that wiring and accessories can not be scrimped on, so plan on spending around another $150 for that stuff.
