Amp ground
Going to be running a new system and was wondering where you all are running the grounds for your amps. I cant find a decent spot without running a long ground wire which I don't want to do.

Re: Amp ground
Depends on what you consider long. My amp is at the center hatch area and my ground runs to the passengers side and grounds just inside the spare cover, so it's maybe 2' long, possibly 3' at best, never actually measured it.

Re: Amp ground
There is a ground in the rear hatch that the hatch pull down motor is already grounded to. But then the problem is your ground wire will be longer than it really should. General rule of thumb I was taught and always try to use is make sure your ground is the same size as your power cable (or you can go one gauge smaller) and never have a ground over one foot in length.
