I used to sell Precision Power amps in Florida and had a couple of them myself a few years back.I was very pleased with them and would recommend them over the Xtant.

AH, finally someone dealing with audiophile stuff!!
I love Precision Power. I almost bought their 50x4 for $550 before I found my Eclipse. Xtants are tough to beat though in terms of features-for-the-$$. The best thing to do is figure out what you need most, then take a good look at both lines.
But to answer your question, both are awesome!

I am looking to get an amp to power a set of mb quart components. I was also looking at some eclipse amps. I know that their head units are pretty much the best but I have never heard any of their amps. I am most likely going to buy an Eclipse 55040 the local sound shop want $560 for it does this sound like a good price? They are the only place around here that sells eclipse products so I have no idea what they go for.
thanks.
thanks.
