security!!!!!!!!!!

we all talk about it, maybe even some of you have those useless alarms that wake up neighbors when it rains or a leaf falls off the tree. I am trying to come up with some ideas for alarm systems that we can all use for our f-bodys that will actually stop the criminals and possibly catch them. only legal stuff though, no electro shock or anything like that. if any of you have any ideas, or have done things that work let us all know so we can stop people from ruining our pride n' joy!

I'm not sure if you are referring to alarm manufacturers, but here is my 2 cents on what an ideal alarm system should consist of:

1-starter disable
2-proximity detector/motion sensor
3-LOUD alarm signal or remote pager
4-highly visible/multiple alarm sensor lights

What I don't recommend:

1-warning chirp sensors
2-alarms that uses the horn as a signal

Other tips: Hide or remove any valuables from the car when you are not driving it. Always park the car in a well lit or high traffic area. If your stereo has a removable face plate....REMOVE IT!!! Also place your components in a hidden but effective location where they can function properly. If you open the hood of my car it would have to look very hard to find out where my siren is located. Hope this info is useful
