best 6x9s
I don't know if they are the best, but I got a pair of high bass 600watt 6x9s from JC Wittney. They are hooked up to a 300watt amp, also from JC Wittney. At one time I had around 300watts a piece going to them and had no problem with them.

If you just want a lot of good, clean sound, you might look into Pioneer's 4 way 6x9's. They sound awesome and run about 140 dollars for the pair. If your looking for something even better you might check out Focal's new line they have out, but your looking about 3 bills for their 6x9's.
