Zaino car polish

Has anyone used this stuff? Is it better than regular wax? I love the way my black car shines after a wax job but as soon as I wash it the swirls come right back, I mean right back, does this eliminate that?

I just got done putting the second coat of Zaino on my car (and yes, you're reading the post right, it's 4:33 in the morning here).

The shine is hard to describe. It's crisper, or clearer than the Meguire's 3-step I used before. But what's got me hooked is how easy it goes on and off (and the pleasant smell is a plus too..hehe) And the feel of the paint is unbelievable. Smoother and silkier than anything I've ever put on the car.

Oh god I'm starting to sound like the rest of the Zaino parrots...

Yes it is all it is claimed to be.

I see Jza is now hooked, next he will be begging his neighbors to wax their cars.

EDIT: JDMZ28, It will help reduce swirl marks but if they are too deep there is not much that will help you short of a professional buffing.

I sent an email to Zaino Sunday requesting some help and I got the crappiest reply. I explained that I used 3M Perfect-It II Rubbing compound on the entire car, then used Meguire's Profesional Glaze and Swirl Remover, and topped it off with Turtle Wax Emerald Series liquid wax.

I asked them if I still needed the clay bar, and do I need to remove the above mentioned products from the paint before applying their stuff or could I just start using their products on top of what I have. The reply I got was a copy and paste of the procedures on their web site. So much for personalized customer service. If anybody here can answer my ??'s, I'd appreciate it.

How do you consider that a crappy reply? It staes to first strip your car of all the old crap you've been using and start with a frsh surface. Putting Zaino ontop of the Turtle Wax and Mcguires is not going to give you good results. Using dish washing detergent to strip the car of the old waxes first.

I would wash it first with dawn or whatever, but i was very unhappy with the claybar, didn't do a damn thing to my car except sound like it was scratching it, waste of 17 dollars. However the rest of the products I used were great...swirl remover, polish, etc

It was crappy because I did tell them that I read their website, but needed more info. After using rubbing compound on the car, I am assuming that all contaminants were removed. Also, I need to know if their swirl remover is needed or will the meguire's do the same job. As for the top coat, I am willing to get it but I don't want to buy their swirl remover if the contents and results are the same as Meguire's. It's the top coat that gives the deep shine, right?

The swirl marks in my paint are not deep they are only from dirt or maybe the wash mit I use. I have been able to remove them in the past with Meguire's but as soon as I wash the car the swirls and cloudy paint come right back. Will this eliminate that problem? Thanks

Dude, it's a whole system of products that are designed and formulated to work only with the other Zaino products. You cannot mix and match them, it will not work. Different chemicals, different ballgame completely.

And if you're using the swirl remover do not expect an overnite vanishing of your swirls, it took time to put them in the paint, and it's going to be a work in progress to fill them in. But after a couple of layers, you'll see drastic improvement.

This stuff worked miracles on my TA before I got it painted, and if it wasn't for a little accident, I probably would have been happy with the car the way it was. Black is absolutly spectacular, when the directions are followed. If you want the best shine possible don't take shortcuts, do what Sal says. Too many people have tried all have come back saying they were idiots for not doing it right.
