A few questions about speakers with new deck...
I got a Pioneer deck for Christmas, and my parents told me the guys at Best Buy said I may need new speakers in the rear of the car. I have the GM Delco Bose system by the way.

You're either going to need new front and rear speakers, or an expensive adapter to use the deck with the stock speakers. I would suggest you get new front and rear speakers, otherwise your stereo won't sound any better than it did with the Bose radio.

First I would highly recomend getting new speakers but if you're all tapped out right now and want the deck in soon, you can still do it without expensive adapters. All you need is about 15-17(get extra, it's a PITA when you run out because you missed a crimp or two), 12-16 awg wire splices and a wire stripper.
When you remove the old deck there should be a diagram etched into the top of the old deck. I have mine in front of me and it's on the rear left corner of the deck. Cut one wire off at a time about 1.5" from the connector, match it up with the corisponding wire on the new deck and attach the wire from the new deck to the wire running into the car. You can do this for all the wires including the power, ground, and acc. leads. The Lamp wire corisponds to the acc. wire on the new deck.
One other way to go would be to install a 9 pin quick disconnect plug for the speaker and turn on leads and another 4 pin for the power wires in there so for future upgrades it will be much neater and easier to understand.
