My Bose kick panel upgrade/speaker replacement
Hi,
My front bose kickpanels had been long disconnected and not used after previous owners fitted aftermarket system (probably after amp failure etc).
For a quick upgrade I stripped them down and found extra shallow speakers (34mm 200w) to replace the bose ones without much of a modification.
The only thing I had to do to get them to fit was to cut using my dremmel a 2 inch circle to allow room for the centre of the new speaker in the drivers side. Took 5mins max.
Passenger side no mod needed.
I then covered in speaker material and dye'd the plastic black and now have functioning kick panels again!

Me three. I have a set of these Bose cowl side panels (kick panels) that I intend to do the same thing with. Need more mids than the 4x6s front and rear can provide.

Looks good, I am not going to get to fit mine for a few weeks as I have to replace carpet first. Are you keeping dash speakers ? I was hoping I could do away with them

The speakers in mine had been changed out for cheap one years before I bought them. Sorry.

Someone on eBay is selling a clean looking set of these kick panels with the Bose speakers still in time for about $80 shipped.
