Radio not working

I've got a new set of speakers and everything for the car, spliced my new harness into the car factory one and it doesn't work. I know I've got my wiring correct. Will it be fine if I just connected the orange and yellow wire straight to the battery?

Did the factory radio work before your modifications?

Factory didn't work, I've checked over my wiring and it's getting power through the lines and I've replaced all blown fuses, hell I've even tried flipping around the power wires and I still get nothing.

If it doesn't power-up, and you're certain it's getting correct battery voltage, it's probably time to pull the unit and have it bench-tested.

I was able to get the radio powered up but my second problem is there's no sound coming from any of the speakers. I'm wiring new speakers up front but the ones in the rear don't work at all.
