Within reason, the bigger the better when it comes to amps. The brand also makes a big difference. There's a reason that some 600 watt amps cost $200 and others cost $700. Kicker, Rockford, PPI, Zapco and others make quality amps, and a 100x2 or bigger from one of these companies are very powerful amps. A Kicker ZR240 would make a great amp. So would a Rockford 500a2. As for wiring, that'll depend on what amp you choose, but the shop you buy it from will be able to set you up with whatever you need.

Hey, right now i have 4 mtx 4000 in my car with a wall in the back seat. Before i only had two and i was push'n them with a power acoustics 1100 watt 2 way. PAs arn't the most expensive but i love them because they work just as well as more of those really expensive amps like orion. When only two were hooked up i only had the amp 1/4 of the way up and i made alot of noice. Now that all 4 are in i have it all the way up but i havn't metered it yet so i couldn't tell you actually what it hits but i will tell you it shook my solarwing off.

Sorry right now i don't have any pics of it. Really because its not finished, i still have the 2 12's in their because i couldn't find enough high density board for the box like i thought i could. Now it is just a rectangle box with two 12's, just basic looking with my amp in the rear. But when i do get my 4 12's in their i will take a pic and post it. What i am trying to do is have the amp in the middle of the box, 2 speakers in the upper right and upper left and than the other two side by side at the bottom. I just got clear coat put over my stripes so i have to save up alittle more money for the box and carpet stuff but i'll be sure to post it. Sorry.
