Black Vermica Covered Sub Box
Black Vermica Covered Sub Box
hey, since i have a black interior, i was thinking of covering my sub box in black vermica. (the stuff most countertops in kitchens are covered with)
once i figure out what subs i want, ill make it, but would vermica be a bad idea? would it vibrate or cause any sort of problems?
thanks a lot, any help is appreciated>

Formica would look really cool. You'll need a special adehsive, and a roller tool...and it's best to cut the Formica with a hand router. My father and I redid my bathroom a couple of years ago, and it was pretty straightforward.
Just remember, you won't be able to unscrew your box again without removing the Formica.

Just make a cover for the box that's covered with formica. That would look cool.

I don't know about just the laminate, but I know that Formica countertops are expensive as h*ll. If you haven't I would check the prices for the stuff first

You're probably thinking of the solid material Corian, which is quite expensive. By the way, Formica is a brand name like Styrofoam or Coca-Cola...you don't necessarily have to get the Formica brand.
I think my father and I paid around $30 for a white 4x8 sheet at Home Depot.
