Do you have your old one? Aftermarket is the only replacement, unless someone has a good used one on here. They are repairable with a new mast if the motor still works. Relay needs to be checked under the dash. Just helpful information unless you checked it already.
Thank you red rock.
I have removed it and replace it with one from an '89 model camaro and that only lasted 2 weeks as it was also old and worn I guess. I had to cut that one out as it jammed extended. No other way to get it out.
I replaced the original and operate it manually, pulling it up and down getting out of the car each time. The mast is OK and motor works and now disconnected; its the flex rod mechanism on the inside that is broken.
Who would be an expert to refurbish that?
The mast and nylon cog strip (that's what makes it move up and down) come as a unit and is totally replaceable and is a common repair. That's all that needed replacing on mine. This is just one example, they are getting harder to find. https://www.classicindustries.com/product/g4825.html You may find them cheaper with some research.

Thank you again red rock.
After reading 100 or so posts on the thread, I think I will live with my original power antenna / manually operated each time the radio is turned on.
