February 2015 COTM **WINNER**

Congratulations to DynoDave43 for being voted in by the TGO Community as February 2015's Car of the Month. This immaculate L03 '88 Trans Am is bone stock, down to the spark plug wires and the heater hoses. clearly, this car gets a lot of love from it's owner - plus it got a lot of love in the **Voting Thread**. must be nice to be so loved.

When he ordered the Firebird, he checked the boxes for many options. Among them (some a part of packages I’m sure): Trans Am Package, WS6 Suspension, PW7 Wheels in Bright Red, 4-way Manual Driver Seat, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Antennae, Power Hatch Release, Tilt Column, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, T-tops, T-Top Shades, Floor Mats, Cargo Cover, Rear Window Defogger, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel and Shift ****, Wheel Locks, UM6 Radio with UQ7 Performance Sound System (Subwoofers), and perhaps a few I’m not thinking of. He also had the dealer add a Goodwrench alarm system, and had all the glass etched with the VIN number.
I guess everyone will have their own idea of what the car is, but to me, it seems like the original owner wanted a Grand Touring car, not necessarily the fastest muscle car. Heavily optioned for comfort, style and handling, yet with the base L03 V8, automatic transmission, and standard 2.73:1 rear gears. Give me an English tweed cap and a pipe and I’m ready to eat up the miles!

What a great honor to win COTM!
Thank you so much to those who voted for my car.
I was not sure what my chances were when I was nominated. Every other car in the competition could easily have won this month. This forum is packed with great looking third gens. I’m flattered that many of you think mine worthy of the COTM title.
Today, 3-5 inches of snow. Tomorrow another 5-8 inches. I can't wait for spring so I can drive it again!

I here you with the snow were looking at getting another foot tonight tonight into tomorrow in NY. I want spring and unsalted roads already.
Beautiful car, They are only stock once and that one is clean. Impressive how long the rubbed has held up along with a lot of other things. I have been at large shows were people walk past resto mods/frame offs to check out survivor cars. Only thing that would of made your bird better is a 5 speed(personal preference)

Thanks Rainmaster. I was fairly unaware of of how few Bright Red PW7 equipped cars there were, before joining here. Not unheard of, but not often seen either. When I first saw the car, I thought they were interesting...didn't recall seeing them before.

Thank you both. Sure wish this winter weather would start to ease up some. Sunday high of 3*. Not going to be working in the barn any time soon.

Nice looking car, looks very similar to mine!
Where abouts are you in MI? Can't wait to get mine out of storage too. Need to break in the clutch I had to put in just before winter.

Thanks V6canvas. I'm in Oxford Township, about 10 miles or so north of The Palace.
I was out in the garage this weekend, started it. let it warm up, moved it a bit. Warm weather can't get here soon enough.
