Stereo lights go off when I turn my headlights on.

I just installed a dual touchscreen stereo in my 2006 Toyota 4 runner and when I turn my headlights on the screen goes black and says no signal. I checked to make sure my power wasn't hooked up to my illumination wire and everything seems to be fine? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

reconnect the stereo illumination wire to the hot side of the headlight switch.
