Good idea????

My idea: fabricate clear plexiglass adapter plates. Add somewhat brite light behind it. Then cover the panel covers with semi-transparent fabric with interior matching color. 6.5's with tweet and X over. Helpful light+different style and great sound????Opinions.....

I guess it would be a good idea. and it would probably sound better than 6x9s. But why do you need a light behind it?

just somthin different beside would work well for lighting passanger area for back seat rider (2backseats=1adult passanger). I just think it woul look neat. maybe they could turn on when the hatch is opened.

From your description it sounds neat, but stuff like that is just as dependant on the execution as the idea. A great idea is only 1/2 of the equation. If you do it right it sounds like it could be real nice.
